Welcome to URGE at NMSU!
Undergraduate Research for Geologic Experience

URGE is a group of undergraduate geology students who are doing original research in geological sciences at NMSU. URGE is intentionally loosely structured to maximize the research experience for everyone involved. Some students work on funded research projects; others receive credit for one or more semesters for their research. Others work on research projects simply for the experience and to prepare themselves for graduate school or employment. To open the URGE vision statement, click here.
